What is NEET?-2023-24 Twinkle InstituteAB

Previously, the CBSE conducted the examination for medical licenses in 2015. The Pre-Medical Test was replaced by the All India Pre-Medical Test, or AIPMT (PMT). The National Eligibility and Entrance Exam (NEET) took the place of the pre-medical exams when the National Test Agency was established (NEET).

Later, on August 8, 2019, the President gave his assent to the National Medical Commission Act of 2019. According to Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act of 2019, all medical institutions, including those governed by other laws, must hold a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) in order to admit students to undergraduate medical programs.

As a result, NEET will also be used to determine admission to MBBS programs at AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER, and all institutions that are similar to AIIMS. (2019 NMC Act). The Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, receives All India Rank from NTA in addition to conducting the entrance exam, announcing results, and inviting online applications.

English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu were among the 13 Indian languages that were used to administer the NEET UG exam nationwide.

What Is The NEET Exam Pattern?

According to the most recent NEET exam pattern, there will be a total of 200 questions on the question paper, and the students must respond to 180 of them. The entire exam will be broken up into four sections: physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology. Section A and Section B are further divided into each category.

Section B would have 15 questions, compared to Section A’s 35. In contrast to Section B, where students can select any 10 of the 15 questions, all of the questions in Section A are required to be attended. The maximum number of questions that can be attempted is 180.

The 10+2 levels of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are covered in full in the NEET syllabus.

The exam format and syllabus should be familiar to students who are preparing for NEET. The books to use for NEET preparation must then be narrowed down. The experts assert that using NCERT books is the best way to finish the topics on the syllabus. Students must create a schedule for getting ready for the NEET. This needs to be followed in order to finish the preparation on schedule.

To gauge their preparation, students can take offline mock exams for the exam that are offered by coaching centers.

After taking the mock test, it is important to analyze it to identify any gaps and improve performance by adjusting the study plan. The difficulty levels of the practice exams vary. The questions on these practice exams range in difficulty from very easy to difficult. Students who complete the practice exams develop experience in answering a variety of questions, which helps them prepare for the exam day.

A week prior to the test, the NEET admit card is anticipated to be made available online. Registered students must access the official website using their NEET application number/Roll Number and password in order to download the NEET admit card in PDF format.
